8" Oliver's Twist scallop purse. This purse is designed after the "Oliver's Twist" that is part of the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum's permanent collection. The purse has Cherry base and top, double lashed cherry rims, maple staves, ivory knobs, hand carved bone whale, bone latch peg, cane wrapped hinges and latch and a brown deerskin leather strap. The iside has a removable fabric liner with a main compartment and a upper pocket with a velcro flap for cell phone or wallet.
